Workers of "Nairit" block traffic near their factory

Today, about 50 workers of the "Nairit" factory have blocked Bagratunyants   Street near the plant. The protestors demand to pay them wages for four months. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Grachya Tadevosyan, the leader of the trade union of the "Nairit" factory.

According to him, the traffic was blocked for about 15 minutes. The protesters were approached by policemen of the Shengavit District of Yerevan. Policemen asked the protestors to unblock the street and promised to get the information on wage arrears within a short period of time.

The workers of the "Nairit" factory have released the roadway, but have not left the place. "We gave the police and factory management time. If we do not get an answer, we will block the road again," he told the" Caucasian Knot "one of the protesters.
