Father of killed Gasanguseinov brothers complains about passivity of investigators

Investigators do not question residents of the village of Goor-Khindakh, who are ready to confirm that the Gasanguseinov brothers, Dagestani shepherds, killed during a special operation, had no relation to militants. This was told by the father of the killed brothers. According to an advocate of the Gasanguseinov, the investigators treat the incident as the attack on law enforcers rather than the killing of the shepherds by them.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 7, villagers and relatives of the killed Gasanguseinov brothers demanded to send the case to the upper district instance for investigation.

A lot of villages can testify that the Gasanguseinov brothers had no relation to militants. However, most of the villagers still have not yet been questioned by the investigators, claims Murtuzali Gasanguseinov, the father of the killed shepherds. According to him, the investigators have only questioned his nephew, who found the dead bodies, the nephew's father, whom he called after the discovery of the bodies, and a young man, who tended animals together with his brothers.

According to the father of the Gasanguseinov brothers, he sent to the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) a complaint with the request to investigate the incident was as intended killing, but received no response.

Until present, the criminal case is opened only under Article "an attempt on life of a law enforcer" and "arms trafficking", so none of the law enforcers can be brought to justice and no procedural actions can be applied against them, states advocate Said Ibragimov.
