Eyewitness: before crash engines of Tu-154 stalled
The fall of the Tu-154 into the sea was preceded by a stop of the aircraft engines, said a woman-resident of Adler, who was on the coast at the time of the crash.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Tu-154 of the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD), which took off in the morning on December 25 from Sochi to Syria, disappeared from radar screens. There were 92 people on board: 64 performers of the Alexandrov Ensemble, nine journalists, eight servicemen, eight crew members, two civil servants, and Elizaveta Glinka, a member of the Presidential Human Rights Council.
According to Irina Avdeenko, a local resident, after the take-off of the Tu-154, she heard the noise of engines, and then – a flash. In her opinion, it was the light of the aircraft’s lights, the "Dozhd" (Rain) TV Channel reports.
Earlier, the YouTube portal posted a video, recorded by an outdoor surveillance camera, showing a flash in the sky that presumably occurred during the crash of the Tu-154.
Let us note here that on December 25, a technical malfunction was named to be the main version of the crash; however, experts did not rule out the versions of structural deficiencies of the Tu-154 aircraft and an explosion on board thereof. The experts, interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot", have emphasized a possible filling the aircraft with poor-quality fuel.
