Yunus-Bek Evkurov instructs law enforcers to conduct raids to detect illegal immigrants

The Ingush leader has instructed the migration service together with the law enforcement bodies to carry out raids on construction sites, labour exchanges, and markets to detect illegal migrants, including suspected recruiters of the terrorist grouping "Islamic State" (IS), banned in Russia.

According to Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the number of illegal migrants may include "so-called emissaries who come to the republic to recruit young people for radical groupings."

"I have instructed officials to check all markets, labour exchanges, and construction sites to detect those who illegally stay in the territory of our republic. I also instructed the officials to deport such people to their homelands after finding out the purpose for which they came to the region," Yunus-Bek Evkurov wrote on his Instagram page.

According to an official from the press service of the Ingush leader, besides construction sites and markets, it is also expected "to carry out checks in the private sector", the "Interfax" reports.
