Volgograd truckers declare readiness to participate in May Day rally

After the refusal of the regional trade union council to sanction the truckers' participation in the May Day demonstration in Volgograd, the protesters decided to take part in the May Day rally.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Union of Carriers and Entrepreneurs of the Volgograd Region had applied for a 50-person participation in the May Day March.

"According to my estimates, the total number of strikers in the Volgograd Region has slightly decreased since the start of the strike," said Alla Beg, the coordinator of the action.

Alexander Beg, a trucker, said that he was taking part in the strike since March 27.

According to his story, truckers are present at the site of the strike in shifts; in total, about 200 trucks are involved in the strike in the Volgograd Region.
