In Austria, officials take children away from a Chechen family

The Austrian authorities placed to a social centre seven children of a Chechen woman, who had to leave them at home alone.

On October 18, social networks released a video, showing how policemen are accompanying crying children out of an apartment.

The incident occurred in the Austrian city of Graz. Officials from the social services, accompanied by the police, took the children to a social centre, reports the website of the ChGTRK (Chechen State TV and Radio Company) "Grozny".

According to people familiar with the family members, the father of the children left the family, and after that their mother got a job and had to leave the children at home alone, the "Kavkaz.Realii" reports with reference to Chechen Office of Radio Liberty.
