Volunteers needed for European Wrestling Championships in Dagestan

Organizers of the European Wrestling Championships to be held in Kaspiysk will recruit 300 volunteers, reported the Dagestani Ministry for Sports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the decision to hold the European Championships in Wrestling in Dagestan was made at the August meeting of the bureau of the United World Wrestling (UWW) held in Paris.

The 2018 European Championships in Wrestling will be held in the Ali Aliev Palace for Sports and Youth in Kaspiysk, the RIA "Dagestan" reports.

Today, the recruitment of volunteers has been started, and it will last until late December. Volunteers eligible should be at least 17 years old. Besides, the basic selection criteria also include proficiency in English, teamwork skills, and interpersonal skills.

The volunteers' duties will include meeting of guests, registration of delegations, protection of territories adjacent to sports facilities, and accompaniment of athletes.
