In Chechnya, security measures have been enhanced in connection with the information about terror acts in preparation for the New Year's holidays, reports a source of the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent from the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

For the period from December 24 to January 10, in Chechnya, units of the National Guard of Russia introduced an enhanced regime of service, a Chechen MIA's official reported.
