Special troops and military police hold anti-terror exercises in Krasnodar Territory

Today, about a hundred servicemen have practiced a scenario of a conditional capture of a dwelling settlement by militants.

The joint exercises of military police and spetsnaz (special troops) were held at the Molkino training ground in the Krasnodar Territory. They involved 20 units of weapons and military equipment.

According to the scenario, ten militants captured a village with several dwelling house and infrastructure facilities. The spetsnaz's mission was to release the hostages and neutralize terrorists; while the military police was called upon to ensure law and order, and traffic during the conditional special operation, the press service of the Southern Military District has reported today.

Antiterrorist exercises were also held today in Dagestan: there, motorized rifle servicemen rebuffed the conditional terrorists' attack on the ammunition depot in Buynaksk.
