In Dagestan, a man wanted for involvement in Syrian militants' actions

Vladimir Oleinikov, a resident of Dagestan, was put on the wanted list in connection with the charges of involvement in an illegal armed formation (IAF). This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) after the release on the Internet of a video, in which a man who introduced himself as Vladimir Oleinikov said that he was a doctor in the IS. Users of social networks expressed different opinions concerning the reliability of the video. Many people noted that the man detained at the border with Turkey had a strange accent for a native of Northern Caucasus, while some others reported that the man in fact lived in Dagestan.

On January 6, the video "An IS militants from Russia captured by the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces, note of the "Caucasian Knot"), was published on the WarJournal Channel on YouTube.

The information about Vladimir Oleinikov, a resident of Kaspiysk, born in 1989, is included in the list of terrorists and extremists of the "Rosfinmonitoring" (Russian Federal Financial Monitoring Service).

Some users of YouTube have suggested that Vladimir Oleinikov has a "strange accent" for a native of Northern Caucasus. Meanwhile, user dale851 said that Vladimir Oleinikov lived in Dagestan and left for Syria three years ago.
