Sources report searches in administration of Derbent District

Agents of secret services are conducting searches and seizing documents from the administration of the Derbent District of Dagestan. Besides, searches are also being conducted in a house of Magomed Djelilov, the head of the Derbent District, informed sources reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has informed that on February 15, the RIA "Derbent" reported with reference to its sources that Magomed Djelilov, the head of the Derbent District administration, was suspected of fraud.

According to the preliminary information, today, the searches at the administration of the Derbent District of Dagestan are being conducted by agents of the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), and the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), the "Interfax" reports with reference to an informed source.

However, the source has not specified the reason for the searches.

Today, FSB and police officers are also conducting searches in a house of Magomed Djelilov, the head of the Derbent District, the RIA "Derbent" quotes a source close to the law enforcement bodies as reporting.

According to the source, a criminal case has been instituted against Magomed Djelilov.
