Moscow Armenians support protests against Serzh Sargsyan

In Moscow, opponents of Serzh Sargsyan's Premiership held an action near the Armenian Embassy with appeals to "Reject Serzh". They treated his previous policy as a failure.

The voting at the parliament was held against mass protests in Yerevan and other cities of the country. Activists are unhappy with the fact that the former president will again lead Armenia.

The action at the Embassy was attended by citizens of Armenia and ethnic Armenians with Russian citizenship came. There were at least 15 of them, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

At the end of their protest, they wrote a letter to Vardan Toganyan, the Armenian Ambassador to Russia, with a request to meet them. The authors of the letter expressed their confidence that the Ambassador would not do it.

According to Margarita Beglaryan, an Armenian citizen, a huge number of emigrants is an indication of Sargsyan's policy failure. "The country is terribly corrupted; human rights are being violated; and people are leaving in search of better life," she said.

Sargis Enokyan, a young entrepreneur and another participant of the action, said that he came to Russia five years ago because of the economic crisis in Armenia.

According to his story, many praise Sargsyan for reforms in the army, but the situation is not the best there too. He also expressed confidence that after Serzh Sargsyan was elected as Premier, the situation in the country would deteriorate.
