Makhachkala: rally participants demand Putin's resignation

In the capital of Dagestan, more than 30 people went out today to hold a rally of supporters of the oppositionist Alexei Navalny; they demanded the alternation of power and opposed the blocking of the Telegram messenger.

The protesters came with posters "I don't like pudding!" and "We are tired, Vova! And you?" and demanded Putin's resignation. In their opinion, the blocking of Telegram and imposition of other restrictions on the Internet violate freedom of speech and the secrecy of correspondence, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

Since mid-April, the "Roskomnadzor" (the Russian Federal Service for Supervising the Sphere of Communications, Information Technologies and Mass Communications) is unsuccessfully trying to block the Telegram.
