Eleven natives of Dagestan deported from Egypt
The residents of Dagestan, who were detained in Cairo, including women and children, and whose relatives had reported their disappearance, have arrived in Russia. During the control, Sakinat Baisultanova, a native of Dagestan and a mother of several children, was detained, the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" has informed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 27, relatives stated kidnapping of 18 residents of Dagestan, including 10 children, in the capital of Egypt. On May 7, the HRC "Memorial" reported that the detained residents of Dagestan had been taken to the deportation prison in order to be sent back to their homeland. According to the HRC, their relatives raised money for tickets to Russia.
According to the HRC "Memorial", eleven persons have arrived in Moscow from Egypt, including six children.
Roza Magomedova, a lawyer of the network "Migration and Law" of the HRC "Memorial", tried to meet the deported Dagestanis, but she was not allowed to see them.
The HRC has added that seven Dagestan natives are still in the Cairo prison, waiting to fly home.
