Nagorno-Karabakh reports a shot-down drone

The Azerbaijani armed forces have shot down a drone during the border monitoring, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Nagorno-Karabakh reports today. The drone tried to fly over the army's positions, the Ministry of Defence for Azerbaijan reports.

"At about 11:20 a.m. local time on June 19, in the south-east direction of the contact line, the Azerbaijani side shot down a military drone of the Defence Army which was carrying out border monitoring," reported the press service for the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD as quoted by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The Nagorno-Karabakh MoD has emphasized that "the commanders of the armed forces intend to continue regular air monitoring."

"On June 19, the air defence units of the Azerbaijani Air Force destroyed an X-55 tactical unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Armed Forces of Armenia," reported the Azerbaijani MoD as quoted by the "Vesti.Az".

According to the Azerbaijani MoD, the UAV "tried to fly over the positions of the Azerbaijani army units in the Beylagan-Khojavend direction of the frontline."
