Four rally participants hospitalized in Yerevan
One of the Nikol Pashinyan's supporters who suffered at a rally experienced head failure.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke out against amendments to the law on the regulation of the National Assembly. Supporters of Nikol Pashinyan followed his call voiced on October 2 and blocked the parliament building. Nikol Pashinyan claimed a counterrevolution.
The Prime Minister announced his resignation and called on his supporters to seek early parliamentary elections. However, tonight, after the negotiations with parliamentary factions, Nikol Pashinyan announced that early parliamentary elections would be held in December. He asked his supporters to unblock the parliament building and march through the streets of Yerevan.
During the rally in Yerevan, four persons were hospitalized because of poor health, the Ministry for Public Health of Armenia reported.
It should be noted that Armenian President Armen Sargsyan supported Nikol Pashinyan's decision to dismiss the ministers from the "Prosperous Armenia" and the "Dashnaktsutyun" Parties, who supported the amendments to the law to let the parliament continue working after prime minister's resignation.
