Ingush Constitutional Court to check law on border with Chechnya

On October 25, a case on verification of the constitutionality of the law on the Chechen-Ingush border will be considered at the request of MPs and residents of the republic. This was announced by the Constitutional Court of Ingushetia on Thursday.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 16, the Chechen authorities announced that the law on the border with Ingushetia had come in force.

On the air of the "Dozhd" (Rain) TV Channel, advocate Kaloi Akhilgov stated that the circumstances of the territory transfer could be called a "legal disorder."

Meanwhile, the Nalgiev teip disavowed Ingush MP Ruslan Nalgiev, who voted for the law on the border.

The rupture of relations implies that the family members of Ruslan Nalgiev will have no support of the teip in the event of any conflict, and relatives are also forbidden to attend wedding parties and funeral ceremonies involving the Ruslan Nalgiev's family members.

Earlier, Marifa Sultygova, a member of the Ingush parliament, has refused her mandate against the background of the rally in Magas, since she "supports the agreement on the border."
