Zaza Saralidze, father of schoolboy killed in Georgia, discharged from hospital

Zaza Saralidze spent four days in hospital, and, after being discharged, joined the protest action held outside the building of the Georgian Parliament. He expressed his mistrust in the Prosecutor's Office, which runs the case of his beating up a policeman.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 26, Saralidze was taken to hospital after his clash with a policeman who tried to prevent him from setting up a tent outside the parliament building.

"I will fight to the end, as far as my health permits," he said on the air of the "Rustavi-2" TV Company.

He also expressed his surprise that the prosecutor's office of the Kvemo Kartli region is running his case of beating the policeman, and emphasised that did not trust the office because of "many mistakes" made in running the murder case of his son. Until the case is considered in court, Saralidze will remain at large.

Let us remind you that since September 10, Zaza Saralidze, the father of one of the two schoolboys, killed on December 1, 2017, was on a hunger strike in front of the building of the Georgian Parliament. On September 18, he stopped the hunger strike, but together with supporters continued the protest action.
