Over 50 million roubles allocated from budget to clean up Kadyrov's residence
According to the state procurement website, next year 51.1 million roubles from the Chechen republic's budget will be spent on maintaining the service residence of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov.
Among the required services and works are general cleaning of buildings, collection and removal of solid wastes, cleaning and maintaining the territory, and washing up building facades. The tender will be summed up on December 17.
On December 5, the edition named "Open Media" noted that the territory in question houses Ramzan Kadyrov's service residence.
According to the edition, the building of the residence, built in the palace style, has an area of 64,000 square meters. This is more than, for example, the Winter Palace in Saint Petersburg.
Let us remind you that Chechnya is a subsidized region of Russia. All the attempts of the federal Ministry of Finance (MoF) to reduce the amount of subsidies were opposed by the republic's leadership. In particular, the MoF had planned to cut the 2017 Chechnya's budget; however, Ramzan Kadyrov criticized this decision, stating that it did not suit the republic's leadership.
