Police and Investigating Committee of Armenia state election violations

Out of 144 reports received by the police about violations at the Armenian parliamentary elections, 58 contain crime attributes. The country's Investigating Committee has announced that 38 received reports about violations contain features of criminal offenses.

On December 9, residents of Armenia elected their MPs. Observers reported dozens of violations in the course of the voting. According to preliminary data of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Armenia, the "My Step" bloc, headed by the Acting Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, received 69.63% of the votes.

The Investigating Committee of Armenia received 38 reports about violations during the voting at the parliamentary elections, of which eight came from Yerevan, the Committee has stated.

"35 reports were about repeated voting, two – about the breach of the secrecy of voting, and one – about impeding the free voter's will. All of them contain signs of criminal offenses," the Investigating Committee of Armenia has noted.
