Thousands Kuban residents evacuated after false mining reports

Anonymous warnings about the bombs planted in schools, hospitals and local administrations in Krasnodar and other cities of the territory have proved to be false, authorities report. In the city of Ust-Labinsk only 5000 people were evacuated today.

Reports about mining were received both by telephone and by email, the Krasnodar Territorial Administration has reported.

Social network users from Ust-Labinsk have confirmed that schools and kindergartens were evacuated. "All the schools were evacuated," Katya Ivanova wrote today in the "Our Ust-Labinsk" group in the VKontakte social network.

Reports of mining in Kuban (Krasnodar Territory) are exactly the same as those received in the cities of Siberia and the Far East, a source said. "Email boxes of various institutions receive letters that are absolutely identical in content. It all resembles a mass mailing," the "Interfax" has quoted its source today.
