Kadyrov announced return to work after course of droppers
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has explained the appointment of Muslim Khuchiev as the acting head of the republic by his ailment (cold), adding that he has returned to office.
Muslim Khuchiev, the chairman of the Chechen government, was appointed as acting head of the republic for the time of Kadyrov's illness. According to the website of the administration of the head and government of Chechnya, Khuchiev held this position since February 11.
Information about Kadyrov's vacation or illness was not published. The wording "temporary incapacity" implies a sick leave, the lawyers interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" believe.
According to Kadyrov, he caught a cold while visiting highland areas. He explained that he had instructed Khuchiev to temporarily perform his duties, so that he would represent Chechnya at "important serious events."
"My body is strong; I received droppers for just two days. Everything is fine now. Since February 16, I have been fully fulfilling my duties," Kadyrov has added, advising people to go in for sports in order to "quickly cope with illnesses."
The journalists' interest in the temporary delivery of powers was criticized by Djambulat Umarov, the Chechen Minister for National Policy, External Relations, Press and Information.
