Azerbaijan reports 26 shelling attacks in conflict zone
During the last 24 hours, the truce regime in the Karabakh conflict zone was violated for 26 times; two border villages were hit by the shelling, the country's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported today.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 28, Azerbaijan reported about shelling in the conflict zone, having counted 22 violations of the ceasefire regime.
From the morning on February 28 to the morning on March 1, the ceasefire in the conflict zone was violated in various sections of the frontline. Positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in the villages of Agbulag of the Tovuz District and Zamanly of the Gadabay District were shelled, the website of the Azerbaijani MoD has reported.
Shelling was also conducted from the territories "near the occupied villages," the MoD has noted.
As of 9:55 a.m. Moscow time, today, there were no comments on the websites of the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh regarding the above statement of the Azerbaijani MoD.
