Azerbaijan reports shelling of three villages in conflict zone

The positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces were shelled 29 times during 24 hours, and three border villages were hit by fire, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Azerbaijan reports today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the morning on March 11, Azerbaijan claimed 23 shelling attacks on its positions per day.

During 24 hours from March 11 to March 12, the ceasefire regime was violated 29 times, the Azerbaijani MoD reports on its website today. From the side of Armenia, the Azerbaijani positions were shelled in the villages of Ashagy Askipara and Djafarli in the Gazakh District and in the village of Gayali in the Gadabay District, and the fire also came from the area "near the occupied villages," the Azerbaijani MoD reports.

As of 8:40 a.m. Moscow time of today, the websites of the Ministries of Defence for Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have posted no comments regarding the Azerbaijani MoD's statement about the shelling.
