Activists unblock entrance to Nazran

After the appeal by Akhmet Pogorov, the co-chairman of the Congress of the Ingush People, to gather in the mosque, the protesters, who had blocked the highway at the entrance to Nazran, began dispersing.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, the rally participants in Magas gathered at the entrance to Nazran, blocking the "Kavkaz" Federal Highway near the Ekazhevo Circle. Akhmed Barakhoev, a co-chairman of the Council of Teips, and Akhmet Pogorov, a co-chairman of the Congress of the Ingush People, called on the participants to disperse.

The protesters began dispersing and removed the barricades. The traffic resumed at 5:42 p.m. Moscow time, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has reported from the venue.

A half an hour earlier, a vehicle with law enforcers arrived at the protest venue. One of the employees urged the crowd to free the roadway and disperse, saying that they were violating Federal Law No. 54. In response, whistles and shouts were heard. At that time, Akhmet Pogorov continued his speech at the rally venue, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reported at 5:23 p.m. Moscow time.

Mr Pogorov asked the crowd to disperse and gather in the central mosque of Nazran. He offered to delegate 10 persons for a visit to the republic's parliament and volunteered to be one of the delegates.
