Armenian soldier wounded on border with Azerbaijan

A contract soldier was severely wounded during the shelling from the Azerbaijani side, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Armenia reported.

Today, the incident has occurred on the border with Azerbaijan in the Tavush District of Armenia. The soldier is wounded to his head and stays in severe condition, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by Artsrun Ovannisyan, the press secretary of the Armenian MoD.

Let us remind you on April 29, a section of the Yerevan-Tbilisi road near the village of Baganis in the Tavush District was shelled from the Azerbaijani positions, reported the press secretary of the Armenian Minister of Defence.
