Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of 22 shelling attacks
The positions of the Azerbaijani army in the Karabakh conflict zone and on the border with Armenia were subjected to 22 shelling attacks over the past day, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Azerbaijan reported.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that yesterday, on May 10, the Azerbaijani MoD registered 28 cases of the ceasefire violation.
"The positions of the Azerbaijani army were shelled in the village of Garalar in the Tovuz District, in the village of Zamanly and at nameless heights in the territory of the Gadabay District," reports today the Azerbaijani MoD on its website.
The fire came both from the Armenian side and from the territory controlled by the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh, the Azerbaijani MoD reported.
As of 8:40 a.m. Moscow time on May 11, the Ministries of Defence for Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have not posted on their websites any comments concerning the statement released by the Azerbaijani MoD.
