NKR accuses Azerbaijan of 95 shelling attacks during week

On September 7-14, Azerbaijani military servicemen fired more than 650 shots at positions of the Defence Army, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 1-7, the NKR counted 110 cases of ceasefire violation by Azerbaijani militaries.

"On September 8-14, the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire regime on the contact line with the armed forces of the Republic of Artsakh (the historical name of the NKR, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"), during which about 650 shots were fired from various-calibre small in the direction of Armenian position," the "Caucasian Knot" has quoted the today's statement of the MoD of the NKR.

The statement asserts that the Defence Army, for its part, is strictly observing the ceasefire regime.

As of 3:17 p.m. Moscow time on September 14, the Azerbaijani MoD, had not commented on this statement on its website. At the same time, within the week from September 7 to September 14, the MoD daily reported shelling attacks on the border with Armenia and in the Karabakh conflict zone. Only in the morning on September 13, Azerbaijani positions were shelled for 20 times, claims the Azerbaijani MoD.
