Three Georgian residents fined for violating border with South Ossetia

In South Ossetia, a court pronounced a decision to fine and expel to Georgia three persons found guilty of violating the border. Another detained person is considered by investigators as a deliberate violator of the border, and a criminal case has been instituted against him.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 12, the State Security Service of Georgia announced the detention of shepherds Zurab Tukhiashvili and Ramazi Zardishvili by Russian border guards.

Today, in South Ossetia, the court has imposed fines on Zurab Tukhiashvili, a resident of the village of Kodistskaro in the Kaspi District of Georgia, and Ramazi Zardishvili from Tbilisi, the KGB of South Ossetia reports.

Today, the court has pronounced a similar verdict against David Mishelashvili, another resident of Tbilisi. These three residents of Georgia, as well as Vazha Gaprindashvili, a resident of Gremiskhevi village of the Dusheti District of Georgia, were detained on the border on November 9 and 11.
