Azerbaijan announces shelling of village in conflict zone
Over the past 24 hours, positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in the Karabakh conflict zone and on the border with Armenia were shelled for 25 times, the country's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 4, the Azerbaijani MoD announced 22 cases of ceasefire violation of the frontline.
"The units of the Armed Forces of Armenia, by using sniper rifles, violated the ceasefire in various sections of the frontline for 25 times during the past 24 hours," the Azerbaijani MoD reported on its website.
The positions stationed in the village of Zamanly and on the nameless heights of the Gadabay District were subjected to shelling. Shooting was also conducted from the territories that Azerbaijan considers as its occupied ones.
