Court arrests five suspects of attacking policemen in Kullar

The court has arrested for two months some of the protesters from the temporary accommodation centre (TAC) located on Dagestan-Azeri border, suspected of using force against policemen. The heat has set up in Dagestan, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to stay in the camp, the Azerbaijanis, who are waiting for departure to their homeland, claim.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 15, Azerbaijani citizens staged a protest action, which grew into clashes with law enforcers, in which four law enforcers and 10 Azerbaijanis were injured.

According to a TAC resident, people, who did not live there, called people to protest. He noted that a list is being now compiled of people who will be sent home in the coming days.

Recently, the help of local entrepreneurs and residents of neighbouring villages has significantly decreased, another resident of Azerbaijan has noted. According to his version, he has three children at home; and he is the only breadwinner in the family - he used to send the money earned in Russia to his relatives.

According to his story, now, the tent camp houses 362 people; and there's no enough room for newcomers.
