In Makhachkala, activist holds solo picket in support of "Alliance of Doctors"

Activist Salim Khalitov held a solo picket and demanded from the authorities of Dagestan to respond to the obstacles to activists of the "Alliance of Doctors" trade union from the administration of the Republican Orthopaedics and Traumatology Centre.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Salim Khalitov, the former head of the radiological diagnostics department at the Republican Orthopaedics and Traumatology Centre named after Tsakhaev, claimed violations in the operation of the medical institution and resigned. Later, Salim Khalitov repeatedly went to protest actions to seek punishment for the persons responsible for the violations. On July 21, Salim Khalitov complained about interference with the activities of the doctors' trade union in Dagestan.

On August 10, at his picket, Salim Khalitov was holding a banner claiming that the Ministry for Public Health was patronizing the administration of the Republican Orthopaedics and Traumatology Centre.
