Parliament of the Netherlands adopts resolution in support of Nagorno-Karabakh

The Dutch MPs have unanimously adopted a resolution on urgently ensuring the security of the population of Nagorno-Karabakh and defining the status of the unrecognized republic.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 25, the French Senate adopted a resolution on the need to recognize Nagorno-Karabakh, after which the Azerbaijani Parliament called to exclude France from the OSCE (Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe). On December 3, a similar resolution was adopted by the Lower House of the French Parliament.

"The Dutch Parliament has adopted a resolution on an urgent and final settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in order to ensure a lasting security for the population of (Nagorno-Karabakh) and bring (the unrecognized republic) to a status that provides continuous protection and security," the Federation of Armenian Organizations of the Netherlands has stated on the Twitter.

Tigran Balayan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to the Netherlands, has confirmed this information, the "News-Armenia" reports. The Dutch MPs have adopted the resolution unanimously, the "News.am" notes. According to the edition, the adopted resolution calls on the Government of the Netherlands to make efforts in the OSCE Minsk Group to ensure the fulfilment of what is stated in the document.
