In Nagorno-Karabakh, peacemakers escort eight columns of Azerbaijani militaries

Russian peacemakers have escorted eight convoys of Azerbaijani militaries through the Lachin Corridor and the Shusha-Krasny Bazar-Kadjar highway section, the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported citing experts that it will take Azerbaijan up to two years to restore Shusha. Now, materials and equipment are being brought to the city along the unfinished road; and some residents have returned to the city, where the infrastructure is being restored. Until the road is completed, Russian peacemakers could help in organizing transportation to Shusha along alternative routes, Togrul Djuvarly, an observer with the "Turan" News Agency, has noted. "Since Russian peacemakers are providing a corridor for the Armenian population, why shouldn't they do it for Azerbaijan?" he has asked.

The "Caucasian Knot" has drafted a map to show the territories that will pass over to Azerbaijan after the autumn war. Also, the "Caucasian Knot" has published a deployment map of the Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Let us remind you that peacemakers are regularly escorting buses with refugees returning to Stepanakert. According to the Russian MoD, more than 45,000 refugees have already returned to Nagorno-Karabakh.
