Two servicemen killed during a collision in Chechnya
Two servicemen of federal troops and one militant were killed in a skirmish in the mountainous Shatoj District of Chechnya. This news was reported by a source in the law enforcement bodies of Chechnya. Supposedly, the militants who started the skirmish with the servicemen were members of the detachment under field commander Dadaev.
On November 7, in the vicinity of Daj village militants shot down two automobiles with the employees of Mordovia militia. As a result of that attack, seven militiamen were killed and one more was heavily wounded. Then, the "power agents" had declared that the attack was made by Dadaev's militants.
During the years of Aslan Maskhadov's rule, Said-Emin Dadaev worked at the frontier-customs service of Ichkeria. According to some data, in due time he was also Shamil Basaev's guide.
