International organizations stand for peaceful settlement of Nagorny Karabakh conflict

These days, Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, hosted another regular meeting within the joint project "Dialogue through Movies," implemented under the aegis of the British organization "Reconciliation Resources" and with assistance of the Internews of Armenia and Azerbaijan. During the year that has elapsed from the start of the project, young journalists from Karabakh and Azerbaijan have shot five documentaries each, picturing the life in the post-conflict societies. The working screening of the films was held in Tbilisi; soon they will be presented officially.

According to Jonathan Cohen, co-director of the "Reconciliation Resources," the main achievement was the readiness of young journalists from Azerbaijan and Karabakh to listen to each other, the correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot" has reported.

"The movies show the real situation, indicate the complexity of the problem and how difficult is to discuss complex issues. They picture the emotional and social-psychological situation in the societies. I liked that several participants marked that war is a wrong approach to the problem solution," the co-director of the "Reconciliation Resources" has stressed.
