Residents of Chechnya complain about compulsion to vaccination

In Chechnya, employees of kindergarten are being forced to vaccinate against coronavirus under threat of dismissal, local residents report.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on April 9, a video appeal from Vakha Kagermanov, a resident of the village of Goity, was posted in a Chechen public account on Instagram with an apology for his words that those who refused to be vaccinated against coronavirus would be deprived of their pensions. The earlier released audio, for which Vakha Kagermanov apologized, was not the only example of a report about coercion to vaccination, Instagram users emphasize.

A woman from Chechnya, who preferred to remain anonymous, provided the “Caucasian Knot” with an audio record made, according to her, in early April. On the audio record, according to the woman from Chechnya, an official of the health care system appeals to medical workers of kindergartens in the Nadterechny District and notifies them of the need to accompany kindergarten employees to a clinic for vaccination.

“Those who refuse will be fired. Most workers think that they will quit their jobs and be able to avoid vaccination. They will not be able to. Later, district police inspectors will visit people at home, at the place of their registration. No social benefits, including pensions or benefits, will be paid to those who refuse to be vaccinated,” the official says on the audio record.
