FSB reports about detention in Kuban of supporters of a radical grouping

The FSB of Russia reported about the detention in nine Russian cities, including Krasnodar and Anapa, of 16 supporters of the “M.K.U.” extremist community, who were plotting massacres and terror acts. The detainees were receiving instructions from the leader of the grouping, Yegor Krasnov, a citizen of Ukraine, reported the video posted by law enforcers.

The “M.K.U.” (Molodyozh. Kult Ubiystv/Youth. The Cult of Murder) extremist community was created in 2019. According to the detainees, they were receiving instructions from Yegor Krasnov and other Ukrainian members of the “M.K.U.” community from Kharkov and Kiev, for the manufacture of explosive devices, the commission of terror acts and murders.

Law enforcers seized from the detained suspects cold steel arms, instructions for making “means of terror,” information about committed and planned crimes, video reports “about violent actions carried out,” as well as correspondence with Yegor Krasnov, the FSB reported.

“During interrogations, the detainees confirmed that Ye.S. Krasnov was coordinating their criminal activities from the territory of Ukraine. He was giving them specific instructions and calls to commit terror acts and extremist crimes on the territory of the Russian Federation,” the FSB notes.
