Militants killed in the capital of Chechnya were preparing acts of terror
They assert at law enforcement bodies of Chechnya that the three militants killed on February 15 in the Staropromyslovskiy District of Chechnya's capital were planning to execute a number of terrorist acts in Grozny.
Meanwhile, the residents of the small town of Mayakovskiy have reported that the participants of the special operation aimed at liquidating the militants, kept chaotic shooting practically from all types of firearms, including grenade launchers, despite the fact that the operation was held in a densely populated dwelling area.
According to some data, the operation was held by militaries from the special troops battalion "Zapad" (West) of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Russian General Staff ("GRU"), members of the Military Commandant's Office, FSB Department for Chechnya, and the workers of the Republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to some sources, several employees of power agencies (from four to seven persons were mentioned) received wounds of various gravity. According to other sources, at least two power agents were killed.
