The "MASHR" Organization reports violations of human rights in Ingushetia
The Autonomous Non-Commercial Human Rights Organization (ANCO) "MASHR" has issued a report named "Lost Law: Violence without Borders," dedicated to violations of human rights in the Republic of Ingushetia.
The report contains materials on creation of the temporary operative grouping of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in Ingushetia, on prosecutions for a so-called non-traditional Islam, and on the investigatory isolation facility in Ingushetia.
The report marks that one of the most important and positive developments of 2006 was the fact of setting up in June in the Republic of the Temporary Commission of the National Assembly of Ingushetia on examining the facts of human rights violations in the Republic.
The ANCO "MASHR" has paid attention to the Dzheirakh District of Ingushetia, where the regiments of the 58th Army, and after the start of the Chechen War - the frontier guards, were destroying ancient monuments.
Besides, the report gives the list of people kidnapped and killed in the territory of the Republic of Ingushetia in 2006.
