South Ossetia: Georgia fabricates voters' lists
The special regiment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, brought into the conflict zone on April 11, today morning has started making Xerox copies of passports of all the passing-by drivers and passengers.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by a source at the Unified Press Centre of the Republic of South Ossetia (RSO) that "the Georgian party needs this data to fabricate the 'voters' lists' in case of holding 'elections' to 'alternative power bodies' or 'referendum on South Ossetia's status' promised by certain Georgia's officials."
"These lists are supposed to be exposed later to foreign delegations as 'a proof that citizens of South Ossetia have allegedly taken part in this referendum or elections'," the Press Centre explained.
