Observers claim violations at elections in Georgia
At elections in Georgia, there were cases of observers' non-admission to polling stations and violations in drafting documents, the NGO named "Fair Elections" has stated.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today Georgia is electing mayors and deputies of local assemblies.
The NGO "Fair Elections" (ISFED) has issued a statement indicating a number of violations during the voting at elections in Georgia. The NGO's observers have filed eight complaints to the Georgia's CEC, 10 complaints – to Constituency Election Commissions (CECs), and made four entries into the registry of remarks, the "Formula" TV Channel has reported today.
Human rights defenders have stated that during the voting there were three cases of restricting observers' rights, when they were not let into polling stations.
They also noted two violations related to documentation, errors in electoral documents, lack of data about voters related to electoral lists, and violation of voter registration regulations.
