Dagestan and Chechnya are among Russia's major recipients of budget transfers

In 2021, Dagestan will be the leader among Russian regions in receiving subsidies aimed to equalize budgetary allocations: it will receive 72.9 billion roubles. Chechnya is also among the leaders with 33.5 billion roubles to be received.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in 2020 Dagestan, Chechnya and Ingushetia became leaders in terms of the volumes of federal aid received. Budgetary investments into Dagestan amounted to more than 134 billion roubles, into Chechnya – 106.4 billion roubles.

In 2021, Dagestan will be the leader in receiving subsidies. This follows from the figures planned by the budget, in particular, on subsidies for equalizing the regional budgets. The total amount of such subsidies will amount to 718 billion roubles, the RBC (RosBiznesConsulting) writes.

This year, Dagestan will receive 72.9 billion roubles; Chechnya with the scheduled 33.5 billion roubles is in fourth place.

The Stavropol Territory is also among the leading regions in terms of subsidies with 24.3 billion roubles.
