Activist detained in Sochi for picket in support of Navalny

Sochi policemen have detained David Abgaryan, a picketer, who demanded to release Alexei Navalny. Abgaryan has reported that he was taken to the police station, where he will be kept until the trial.

David Abgaryan held his solo picket on November 8 near the building of the Sochi city administration, he was standing there with a poster "Freedom to Navalny", the "OVD-Info"* reported with reference to the detainee himself.

Policemen detained the activist and took him to the police station "Tsentralny" of Sochi. A protocol was drawn up against Abgaryan under the article of violation of the rules of organizing a picket, which envisages an arrest, and left him in the police station until the trial.
