Murderer of Kislovodsk Imam sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment in Stavropol Territory
Today in Pyatigorsk, the Stavropol Territorial Court has sentenced Roman Koyushev, 24, to 20 years of strict custody colony for murdering the Imam of Kislovodsk mosque. Roman Koyushev was found guilty under three Articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation: "murder on religious hatred motives," "illegal acquisition and bearing of firearms" and "encroachment on life of an employee of law enforcement bodies." Besides, under the court decision he should pay out one million roubles to the families of the casualty and of the wounded militiaman, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the permanent session of the Stavropol Territorial Court in Caucasian Mineral Waters (SPA District).
