People wounded at bombardment of the capital of South Ossetia
Shelling of the dwelling districts of the capital of South Ossetia continues, one peaceful resident was wounded, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports from the place of events in Tskhinval.
Under the data from the South-Ossetian Republic's Somatic Hospital, one peaceful resident was wounded.
According to the information from the South-Ossetian part of the Mixed Control Commission (MCC), Boris Chochiev, co-chairman of the MCC for Settling Georgian-Ossetian Conflict, has telephoned Merab Antadze, his counterpart in chairing the MCC from Georgia, and categorically demanded to stop the shelling of residential districts of Tskhinval. Mr. Antadze answered that he had no information about the events in the conflict zone.
It has also become known to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent from the employees of power agencies of South Ossetia that the officers for military monitoring from the Tskhinval Office of the OSCE Mission in Georgia made a visit to Ergneti village (area Gori District of Georgia), whence the shelling was conducted, and stayed there for about twenty minutes. During this period, there was no shooting. Then, shelling resumed and became even more intense.
