The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 24 the bodies of the Georgian volunteers, Alik Tsaava and Zaza Bitsadze, who had perished in Ukraine, were brought to Tbilisi. Both perished on April 16 near the town of Rubezhnoye in the Luhansk Region. They got into a road accident when trying to take the body of the mortally wounded Arkady Kasradze out of the combat area.
Relatives of Rati Shurgaya have explained that after being wounded, he was taken to the clinic, but left after a few days. Then, his health condition worsened, and he developed the consequences of a brain concussion, his family members told the "Rustavi-2" TV Channel.
Rati Shurgaya had worked in Poland, and then went as a volunteer to Ukraine.
Earlier, Tato Bigvava, a 27-year-old native of Zugdidi, perished at the "Azovstal" plant in Mariupol, the "News-Georgia" reported. The family wanted to bury him at home, but it's still impossible to take the body out, his sister has explained.
