Telegram users support pacifist slogan of Dagestani schoolgirl

During the "Last Bell" ceremony, a graduate of one of Dagestani schools publicly spoke out against the special operation in Ukraine; it follows from a video clip posted on the Telegram. Most commentators have supported the girl's statement.

The 12-second-long video that was filmed, according to the caption, at the "Last Bell" ceremony at one of Dagestani schools, was posted on May 22 in the NEXTA Live Telegram channel. The footage shows schoolchildren lined up on the school grounds. Several graduates stand in the centre of the platform, and one of them pronounces her pacifist statement into the microphone, namely, words of support for Ukraine, and also mentioning Vladimir Putin in a derogatory context.

Having expressed her opinion, the girl leaves the centre of the platform; some of the audience applauded her.

Many commentators to the video expressed their pride in the girl, treating her as their countrywoman.

"There are still real Caucasians in Dagestan, I'm glad," a user with the nickname "D" has written. "She's a great young girl!" Roman Bondar has expressed his opinion. "I pity her: they'll jail her quickly," the user LinSoekGyn suggested. "She's a real Caucasian girl! My deep respect for you," the user Kirill Carter has addressed the graduate.
