Kadyrov boasts of a new award

The Russian President signed a decree on the presentation of Ramzan Kadyrov to the Order of Alexander Nevsky for his contribution to the socio-economic development of the region, the leader of Chechnya himself reported. Meanwhile, 19.5% of the population of Chechnya live below the poverty line.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that in July, Ramzan Kadyrov announced that he had been awarded the Order “For Services to Dentistry”. Users of the “VKontakte” social media outlet asked what kind of merits helped the leader of Chechnya to receive the award.

The Order of Alexander Nevsky is awarded to citizens of the Russian Federation who fill civil service positions for special services to the Fatherland, many years of conscientious service, and high results achieved in the performance of official duties.

Being the leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov has collected a collection of awards. He has the title of honorary academician of the Academy of Sciences of Chechnya, honorary professor of a number of universities of the Russian Federation, and is awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, Fourth Degree, and the Order of Courage.

The “Caucasian Knot” has also reported that on December 25, 2021, Ramzan Kadyrov’s daughter Aishat, Minister of Culture of Chechnya, was awarded the medal “For the Protection of Human Rights”, and Ramzan Kadyrov himself and his parents were awarded the medals “Honoured Human Rights Defender of Chechnya”.
