GPO achieves compensations to families of Kuban children with disabilities

After the intervention of the Russian General Prosecutor's Office (GPO), the families of the disabled children who had refused to eat at schools received the due compensations from the authorities.

The deputy head of the GPO has made a submission to Veniamin Kondratiev, the Governor of Kuban (Krasnodar Territory), related to the violation of the rights of Krasnodar disabled children, the "Bloknot Krasnodar" reports with reference to the local GPO branch.

The GPO has found that families of the children with disabilities received no monetary compensations instead of two meals a day. As a result, authorities paid more than 1.5 million roubles in compensation to 37 disabled children.

The check was conducted after the children's families refused from two meals a day and asked for monetary compensation instead, but they were refused, the "Yuga.ru" writes.
